2025 Book Review : The Shape of Darkness Laura Purcell
This book has surprised me at the ending I thought it was a wedding for two single people. However it uncovered the true ending. That the man was obcessed with Agnes to the point or killing those people who are involved with her. This is a gothic novel and finishes with an odd ending. It might be that Agnes was supposed to be "the wife" that was supposed to be sent to the asylum yet she fought her way by the help of her sister's ghost that Dr Simon meet his demise on the end. This is my 2nd book of Laura Purcell that I also enjoyed reading a surprise in the end.
