Book Review: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows

BOOK TITLE: HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS
My Rating: 5  PERFECT STARS
The last book in the Harry Potter Series.
Genre: Children's books, Middle grade read, Fantasy, Adventure and Friendship
Author: JK Rowling

I am proud to say that I have finished and completely aware of the the life of the boy who killed Lord Voldermort. I have finished 7 books and I am sure that it would take years for other writers to create a regal and readable story such as Harry Potter. The author exposed the behind the scenes about the greatest wizard Albus Dumbledore and his brother family feud. I also witnessed the death of Dobby the free elf and Professor Snape death. The author made sure that the fight scene will be describe while the readers read the book. The atmosphere of each scene and feelings of each character were written in the book. I can say that the movie and the book are the same in this case. The author finally killed the baddest wizard that ever lived and had placed new rules about the wizarding world.  What I like about the story is about the background about magic wands or wandlore. It is the study of wands and how it choose its owner or rather bend it will to the new owners of the wand. I started reading the book in the late weeks of March. I keep on putting my reading schedule at stop. The middle of the book can make a reader stuck especially when its all about finding the Horcruxes that made the book interesting. The story of the three brothers made the story even more intriguing as the story runs about the last Horcruxes to be destroyed was the curse boy Harry himself.

Highlights of the book are as Follows

Dumbledore protected Harry while he was younger because he was the last horcruxes a piece of soul of Lord Voldermort which Lord Voldermort cannot destroy
Albus Dumbledore coordinated his death with Snape.
Aberforth or Albus Dumbledore's  brother revelation about his brother Power Hungry
Getting the Gryfindor sword.

The Book finished when Harry and Ginny was at the train station accompanying their children for another school year  at Hogwarts. As a dad Harry named his youngest child Albus Severus and his eldest child James and her daughter lily. All are starting their school year at Hogwarts. While Ron and Hermione was blessed to have two intelligent children that might beat Draco Malfoy's son Scorpious.

I am sorry about this review  came out late as I am savoring the ending of Harry Potter.
I am proud to say that I am not ignorant about Hogwarts houses , professor at Hogwarts and why Voldermort wants to kill Harry Potter.

I am confident to recommend this book for those readers looking for adventure and a feel good story that would last a lifetime. I agree that there are some books we read and learn but there are books that stories last a lifetime with us. We grow old but the stories we read are buried in our minds and heart. As a reader we have an advantage to retain who died in the story and how they died.  For me I gave the book a perfect five because it deserve it and the author deserve it for her brilliance in writing a story that spun from generations to generations to come.

"WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA, EXPELLIARMUS" :)
